The So Called Wavves Meltdown

Wavves who's bedroom recordings captivated the masses, had his first onstage massacre at the Primavera fest in Spain. I stumbled across this video of him getting fucked around by the monitors on the giant stage and looking out into the crowd getting kind of pissed. I hope Nathan recovers from this small lapse. I would not want to be in his position having so much come at you so quick. I hope the exploiters let the guy relax. Check the video of Wavves getting ready to start the show by making noise and not wanting to play his songs all the while the crowd gets restless at 2 a.m.

The Tweeds are friends of mine from back in the day. At least Sam and Derek are, but the other guys are cool, too. Anyway, The Tweeds have a really sweet sound (think Ghosts and Vodka meets My Bloody Valentine) and they're playing North Star Bar and we're going. There isn't much to say about this show, except that if you haven't seen it watch it. Definitely for fans of shows such as Reno 911 and Arrested Development. This Canadian show had 7 seasons and is filled with millions of great skits. Watch a few episodes and wish you lived in a trailer park in the great north.
